Tired of their urban lifestyle, the Ojeda family was tempted to live differently. They learned about the existence of the “Welcome to my Village” program, a pilot test of the Es Vicis foundation of Swiss origins, created to repopulate small communities in a planned and sustainable way, with entrepreneurial families that can provide the town with non-existent or insufficient products and services and not competitive with the local offer. The Ojeda family applied in 2018 and was one of the twenty selected from the 20,000 applicants.
