Scalability Strategy

Scaling Up: The Challenge of Success

Building on the success of the Colonia Belgrano pilot, the ES VICIS Foundation faced the challenge of scaling its model. Local demand exploded, with over 300 families and seven communities reaching out weekly, and interest from 20 countries. This prompted a reassessment of our strategy, highlighting the importance of a collaborative approach with local ecosystems and key partners, such as the Swiss Embassy and regional governments.

Global Demand Overview

The “Welcome to My Village” model has been showcased at various international forums, generating interest from over 20 countries across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. Feasibility studies have been conducted, and initial connections established through Swiss embassies in Bangladesh, Colombia, India, Spain, South Africa, as well as regional authorities in Switzerland. As a result, the foundation is advancing projects in South Africa, Switzerland, its home country, and expanding further in Argentina.

Current Portfolio:

  • Argentina: Scaling since 2022.
  • South Africa: Solid project foundation, ready to launch.
  • Switzerland: Early-stage project, ongoing stakeholder negotiations.

Scaling Through Knowledge Sharing

We adopted a model that allows us to expand without growing our team, by empowering regional partners with the tools and knowledge to lead revitalization efforts. Our “Sharing Knowledge” strategy provides manuals, support, and an operating system to ensure effective implementation and local involvement.
