Engaging in a Global Giving Campaign

“Giving Tuesday” is a day for giving, institutionalized on the last Tuesday of November. It aims to counteract the consumption generated by campaigns such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the preceding days.   Once again, the ES VICIS Foundation participated in the global giving campaign “Giving Tuesday.” It is a global movement that seeks to encourage and multiply people’s good actions. The goal is to dedicate a day worldwide, this year on November 28th, to celebrate the act of giving, whether it’s food, money, time (volunteering), or second-hand items. The idea of #GivingTuesday originated from the 92Y Street NGO in New York, dedicated to social work for over 100 years, and the United Nations Foundation, which contributed its experience in the strategy and promotion of charitable projects. In 2012, the #GivingTuesday movement was created in the USA as an alternative to the preceding days, known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which promote pre-Christmas shopping. “Giving Tuesday” by ES VICIS To promote support for its mission, ES VICIS launched a digital campaign through email and social media. This approach attracted new members to the foundation’s Membership program, furthering the strategy on a global scale. You can view the #GivingTuesday posts on ES VICIS’ social media channels. https://www.instagram.com/esvicisfoundation https://www.facebook.com/esvicis https://www.linkedin.com/company/es-vicis-foundation/mycompany
